  That real country get away, alone, with family and or friends. Boating, fishing, and a sleep in too... One of the most worked on park this year. You can get involved with the water, by boat or a ski, or picnic in a quite location or aside all the action. The park litterally has plenty to do...

Laanecoorie is a small township on the Loddon River, 2 hrs from Melbourne. It is in the heart of the Golden Triangle, on the river crossing coming from the Tarnagulla and Waanyarra goldfields, that were operational in the 1850s to 1870s. The reservoir was completed in 1891 and the area became a popular holiday destination. Laanecoorie Lakeside Park is set on 45 acres of natural bush setting with a large range of native wildlife and birds.
